Harrison County Adopt-A-Pet Month

AUGUST IS ADOPT-A-PET MONTH AT
HARRISON COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY and WILSON MARTINO DENTAL

Half-price adoption is the theme for August’s Adopt-A-Pet Month at the Harrison County Humane Society. Thanks to Wilson Martino Dental Associates, those community members who adopt a dog or cat, during August, will be able to take home their new family member, for half of the cost!

If you have been thinking about adopting a pet, now is the time. Simply visit the Harrison County Humane Society, located near Shinnston, to choose your pet. You only pay half of the adoption fee, which includes: shots, wormer, spay or neuter surgery and a flea dip. Wilson Martino Dental Associates will pay the other half for you.

“Some people wonder why a dentist office would want to partner with the Humane Society,” said Robert Martino, DDS and CEO of the seven office dental group. “It’s simple really, we love animals and we love our community. Why not promote a worthwhile and dedicated organization that helps both groups?”

The dental office has also pledged to help the Humane Society have a record adoption month during August. Thus far, the record for the adoptions in one month is 75 pets and Wilson Martino Dental is challenging the community to exceed that number during the Adopt-A-Pet Month.
