Camp Buckanneer Tours Dental Office

Children enrolled in the Stockert Youth Center’s Camp Buckanneer toured Wilson Martino Dental in Buckhannon on June 27th. During the tour campers watched a video about a dental office visit, learned how to fill a cavity, and observed sealant procedures.

“The kids from Camp Buckanneer were great!” said Dr. Ed Linger who practices in the Buckhannon each Tuesday. “They were really interested in what goes on at the office, asked lots of questions and I believe there may even be a future dentist or hygienist in the group. Our office truly enjoys interacting with the community and free programs like the tours and school presentations are our way of saying Thank You to our neighbors who support us.”

The dental programs are free to the community and can be tailored for any age group, including: daycare facilities, schools, social groups, civic clubs, senior centers and much more. The dental office also has a mascot “Dudley the Dinosaur” who is available for special appearances.
