WV Dental Organization Donates Over 1,000 Coats to Salvation Army

Wilson Martino Dental Associates and TLC Dental are proud to announce the final numbers for their "Coats for our Community" coat drive. The coat drive, which was held throughout October and November, collected over 1,100 coats along with several blankets, warm hats and gloves.

Donations were brought in from various sources, including: patients, family members, friends, employees and area merchants. The coats and other items were then taken to local Salvation Army Units for distribution.

This annual project involves every dental professional employed by the organization, over seventy individuals. Pat Poling, an employee of the Buckhannon office stated, "We look forward to the Coat Drive every year. This project gives us a chance to contribute to our community while striving towards one common goal - to keep our neighbors warm and protected from harsh winter conditions."

The annual project will continue for many years to come as plans are already underway for the 2005 "Coats for our Community" drive. Wilson Martino Dental Associates has six offices in West Virginia, including: Bridgeport, Buckhannon, Charleston, Elkins, Morgantown and Teays Valley. TLC Dental is located in Sabraton.
